Responsibilities

Study design briefs and determine requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, or related fields.

Thematic knowledge of topics including climate change, agriculture, food systems, climate change, agrobiodiversity, nutrition, poverty and livelihoods, digital and gender inclusion, crop research and sustainable development.
Deep knowledge of various multimedia formats for storytelling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential. Working competency in Spanish, French, or other UN languages is a plus (oral and written).
Prior experience working in an international organization, and in multiple time zones.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team with people in a multi-cultural and multidisciplinary environment, including with external stakeholders, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide a high level of service under pressure.
Experience and ability to translate complex science into widely compelling and targeted communications stories.
Able and willing to travel to global field sites.

Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement communication strategies that includes media outreach and social media content creation for various organizations
Support our clients in uncovering various media and pr opportunities
Research and write press releases, and content for client media, websites, infographics, blogs and newsletters.
Arrange and coordinate events.
Facilitate the resolution of disputes with external role-players.
Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensuring that we produce high-quality and error-free copy.
Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the organization strategy and in support of various initiatives.
Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists and key external role-players.
Perform any other relevant duties as required.
